The Game

The Game is a book by writer Neil Strauss, a.k.a. Style. It is a slightly sensationalized chronicle of his real life journey from a common writer to one of the world's leading PUAs. In it, he interacts with many famous PUAs, such as Ross Jeffries, David DeAngelo, Tyler Durden, and a great deal of time spent with Mystery, who becomes his life long friend.

A common misconception about this book is that it is a handbook to becoming a PUA, or that by reading it, it would increase your own "game" with women. It is not, and does not. It is simply a story, a novel for entertainment purposes. However for those familiar with the seduction community, it does give a wonderful insight to the goings-on behind the scenes and in the personal lives of many of the big names in the business, and is a very interesting and inspiring read. But it does NOT improve your technique with women on its own.
