Pregnancy scares are one of the worst things a girl can inflict on a guy, even if the guy knows it is practically impossible for her to actually be pregnant because of him. It's a living hell, in short.

Common Scenario

• She has a crush on you.
• You two had sex.
• You brush her off for whatever reason.
• She feels wronged / used, or afraid she will lose you.
• She tells you she might be pregnant.
• You flip out.

Basically she is just paying you back for the emotional pain she feels. She may also be doing this to get you back, in which case you would be an idiot for getting back with her. Girls like this are head-cases and need to be avoided at all costs. NEXT!

Also note that you should NEVER trust a girl when she says she is pregnant. Have her GO TO A DOCTOR and have a test done, otherwise do not acknowledge her as being pregnant. If she keeps it then once its born have a paternity test done, otherwise do not acknowledge the child as yours. Trust me on this one. I'm not saying that it ISN'T yours, I'm not saying that she can't be trusted, I am just saying it is a big responsibility put upon you if in fact it is someone else's. If you need to rationalize it to her, say you will feel more comfortable knowing that it is yours, and this way you will be certain and there will never be any doubt.

One last thing. Do NOT have sex with a girl WITHOUT protection unless you are CERTAIN she is pregnant (due to the results of a pregnancy test from a doctor's office). Many men have stories of women who they had sex with because they THOUGHT the woman was pregnant, was in fact NOT, and then BECAME pregnant (whether through the intentional misleading ways of the female to get the male to be with her, or simply through ignorance). Better safe than sorry when it comes to your future.

It is VERY common for women to miss periods, ESPECIALLY when they are stressing out about the possibility of being pregnant - many things can factor into this. It is best to make sure before you assume. You remember what ASSUMING does, right?
