Mystery is a leading PUA and the father of the Mystery Method. His primary hobby growing up was magic tricks, and he always wanted to be a magician. He grew up in Toronto, Canada, and his family life was cold and unstable. Plagued by a handful of mental complexes and shyness, Mystery found himself not being all too popular with the ladies in his late teens.

He began frequenting clubs, and methodically testing all sorts of ideas and theories as to what attracts women, or what makes certain men so attractive. He has a keen eye for observation, and a photographic memory. Like a mad scientist in a dark underground lab, Mystery tried technique after technique, night after night in the clubs, and he invented all his own material. He was not aware that there was a seduction community on the internet at the time. By nothing more than sheer determination and trial and error, he devised equations and exact techniques, and forumlated his "Mystery Method". From there he started looking for seduction techniques and posting his material, and quickly gained popularity in the community, and his method has been hailed as one of the most comprehensive and effective teachings out there.

Mystery is best known for his elaborate "peacocking", a term he invented himself, which involves dressing up with lots of odd accessories. He is typically seen wearing a top hat, garish metal jewelry, goggles, glow-in-the-dark necklaces, and LED light up displays on his clothing. He's also known for having an absolutely calm demeanor at all times, with a slow smooth voice.
